Returning to Brewerville for a second mission trip, but hosted in a different part of the town, the pastors conference saw a larger gathering of leaders with over 130 in attendance. Amidst the backdrop of the prevalent “prosperity gospel,” Mark expounded the Gospel from Romans chapters 1to 8, bringing in both a pastoral and an evangelistic perspective.

Other teaching included the call to ministry, the judgment which all Christians will face , and the deception which Jesus warned about, especially in the last days.

There was an evident hunger for the Word, as well as for lunch, (!) provided by an LWM supporter, otherwise many simply could not afford to attend, because of missing out on their payed employment.

Bibles were donated to many individuals, and several copies given to evangelists, as an example to encourage their support, as the ministry of the evangelist is so often overlooked.
